The Ring Flash Makes Everyone Look Good
Michael Bourne hopped on the T early Wednesday morning to head to work. He pulled out his Amazon Kindle, hoping to participate in one of his favorite pastimes, only to find that the screen was frozen. Michael, ever calm and collected, immediately snapped a picture of the problem with his iPhone, and mobile uploaded the photo to Amazon’s Facebook wall. He included a message and asked the company for help. Upon his arrival at work, Michael checked the status of the Facebook post, and tweeted the photo to Amazon’s Twitter handle. “This is one instance where my personal life and my professional life have intersected,” he tells me. Michael is wearing a blue and white-striped button-down shirt and khaki pants. No tie. His Transitions glasses are still adjusting to the dimly lit Mexican restaurant we have chosen for lunch. “I’m just hangin’ loose right now, waiting to see what happens.” He breaks into a mischievous grin as he slips his iPhone into his pants pocket.
